Setting up and running your blog is easy thanks to platforms like Blogger and Wordpress. Learn the basics with us and build your own little part of the web.

Just thought I’d do a quick post to explain why the blog looks a little odd.

I’m currently writing a guide for writers who’ve come to worpdress and are a little unsure about it. Talking about wordpress gets quite difficult when they keep changing it and obviously everyone will be doing different things with it too. So, for the sake of simplicity, I’ll be sticking to the Twenty Twelve them throughout my book. That being the case, I have changed this blog to Twenty Twelve. It used to run on the Mystique theme which not only looks different but comes with its own widgets.

As you can see, changing themes has altered the look of this blog and so now it looks a little odd.But don’t worry, all the content is still there, what there is of it, so you can still browse away.

And that’s why it looks it weird.

Enjoy :)

Blogging is a great way to build a presence on the web, but only you can decide whether you actually need one. In trying to decide, you’ll probably ask yourself a number of questions and I’m going to guess that somewhere near the top of that list will be: Continue reading
